Pam Hardy Fisher

Pam Hardy Fisher from 1979 Game Program.JPG

Pam Hardy Fisher joined the Toledo Troopers as their quarterback in 1976 and continued to play that position until 1979. At 4’11’’ and 100 pounds, she was one of the smallest quarterbacks in the league. That didn’t stop her from becoming another great Toledo Troopers legend, and winning multiple awards including the Rookie of the Year (1976), Best Offensive Player (1977), and The Most Valuable Player (1978).

The items that Pam Hardy Fisher loaned to the library for digitization includes those awards, as well as three team jackets, a medallion with chain, and a Troopers knit hat with the 1978 team World Champion button.
